Office of the Vice-Dean, Research
Rose Anne Devlin, Vice-Dean of Research
This is an exciting time to be part of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The number of professors has doubled over the last or so, and we now have some 260 professors in nine units engaged in a wide variety of research activities.
A major role of the Office of the Vice-Dean of Research is to support and encourage our faculty members as they strive to produce high-quality research. I’m very pleased to join the team and to be part of this important process, and I look forward to helping promote the research being conducted at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
As I begin my term as Vice-Dean, I hope to meet with colleagues from across the various units of our Faculty to help determine what is working well and what we can do better in our pursuit of research excellence.
Feel free to drop by my office for a visit!
