Study and Research Laboratories
The main goals of a study and research laboratory are to prompt discussions and exchanges between professors to ease students' integration into graduate studies, to share research findings, and to make the University's expertise more widely known. The laboratory also seeks to establish an interdisciplinary venue for meetings and discussions about a particular object of study for students and researchers.
The Faculty provides a maximum funding of $7 000 annually for assistantships and to defray the cost of travel for guests, conferences and seminars. The duration of the Faculty’s initial grant is three years.
