African Study and Research Laboratory
The University of Ottawa counts among its professorial corps a significant number of scholars whose research activity falls within the field of African studies. Their work addresses questions rooted in country-specific or regional studies as well as thematic concerns that elucidate the ties between African societies and those in other parts of the world. The African Studies Research Laboratory was created to bring together scholars, students, and community members to promote research and scholarly activity and to help create ties among faculty members with complementary research agendas.
