Washington Center Internships - Internship Costs
Students are responsible for the following costs:
1. The participation costs of the internship are as follows (includes housing) .

2. You will receive a subsidy from the Faculty which will pay half of these costs, about $4835.00 (CAD) excluding tuition fees. This subsidy includes the International Mobility Bursary from the International Office.
3. The cost of participation for the student will be approximately $4835.00 (CAD). (these costs may change according to the exchange rate and fees)
4. To this amount, you must add:
- COSTS of tuition fees for full-time students (These costs vary depending on your student status. Consult the Office of the Registrar to confirm what applies to your status
- COSTS related to your application to the Washington Centre: $60.00 US ($65 CAD) Application Fees (non refundable) to examine you file and obtain your J1 Visa
- COSTS of passport and visa (around 200 $ USD) The Washington Center will let you know how to get the visa once you are accepted.
- COSTS of travel insurance. The Faculty requires that this insurance includes UNLIMITED COVERAGE for repatriation of remains and in case of medical issues. (INSURANCE MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS STATED AND IS MANDATORY. You will have to provide proof of purchase of the required insurance. We do not accept parent's insurance. Students must be the holder of the policy.)
- Personnal expenses, local transportation and food
