Washington Center Internships

These 10 weeks internships in Washington D.C. can count in your program both at the undergraduate and graduate level. These internships are unique in that they combine a work experience with academic courses. Students can choose from an array of fields includding International Affaiirs, Political Leadership, Science and Policy or Advocacy. You will have the opportunity to work for non profit groups, gouvernmental agencies, international organizations such as embassies, the Peace Corps, the U.S. Congress, Amnisty International or the World Bank.

This internship could count, at the undergraduate level, for a total of 12 credits (6 credits for courses – 6 credits for the internship). At the graduate level, it could for 3 credits if you are registerred in a thesis program and 6 credits if you are registered in a research paper program.

This internship is available only in the summer semester. Application deadline is March 2 2012, 4 p.m. DMS3160. Four (4) students will be selected to participate in this internship (two undergraduate students and two graduate students).
