Costs Associated with the Course and the National Model United Nations
Expenses for the trip are the responsibility of the students, and normally range around $1000 CAN. Eligible students will receive $200 in financial aid.

Participation costs for the Quebec Model United Nations (QMUN) at Sherbrooke University: $200 - $300 (approximate)
Round-trip transportation by Greyhound bus to New York: around $198 (to be confirmed)
Hotel accommodations in New York: $432.10 USD
Porterage (mandatory baggage-handling charge per person, even if the students carry their own luggage): $12.00 USD
Delegate and Head Delegate fee: $125.00 USD
Food: approximately $50 USD per day
Personal expenses/Sightseeing/Souvenirs: Variable
Financial Aid
Students registered in a program from the Faculty of Social Sciences will be eligible to receive $200 (includes medical insurances) in financial aid to help them participate in the National Model United Nations conference in New York (pending University of Ottawa’s accreditation).
