Social Sciences Support Staff Bursary
The fund supports a bursary for a student in financial need, registered full-time in a second year program of the Faculty of the Social Sciences (excluding Psychology) at the University of Ottawa.
Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must:
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- residence in Ontario for the last twelve consecutive months;
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa;
- be taking the majority of their courses in French;
- have completed at least one year of full-time studies in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Social Sciences and be registered for the second year of the program (excluding Psychology);
- have achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 6.5; and
- not be receiving another award from the University of Ottawa, of equal or greater value in the same year.
