- Kathleen Day and her co-author Stan Winer are the recipients of the Doug Purvis Prize for their book entitled "Inter-regional Migration and Public Policy in Canada: An Empirical Study". The prize will be awarded June 1 during the Purvis Luncheon of the CEA.
- The uOttawa delegation won first prize in the National Model United Nations-New York 2013 Video Contest! The goal of the video contest is to provide a unique way to explain the NMUN conference to future delegates. This follows the "Distinguished Delegation" award that the delegation received in March in New York. Congratulations to Graciela Dancose, Professor Justin Massie, videographer Alexandre Chaput and this year's uOttawa delegation!
