A Word from the CoordinatorYour Passport - Conflict Studies and Human Rights

Welcome to the Conflict Studies and Human Rights program! Our Conflict Studies and Human Rights program offers a solid and holistic academic curriculum that benefits students in their future careers whether it be in a government setting, an international institution or a non-governmental organization. It is an excellent stepping stone for future graduate studies in such fields as conflicts and war, peace and governance, public and international affairs or women's studies.

Through this program, students gain knowledge on theories, issues and debates concerning conflicts and human rights on many levels: personal conflicts, social conflicts and conflicts between states. This program will also enable students to better understand what are human rights and how they can help in conflict resolution. It is a unique program in Canada!
