Mission Statement
The Centre for Research on Educational and Community Services (CRECS) collaborates in research, evaluation, and training with organizations in the educational, social service, and health sectors to improve social programs and policies for citizens, especially those facing social exclusion.

- A national conference entitled "Canadian Community Psychology: Reflecting on our Past and Looking to the Future" is planned for Thursday, May 20th to Saturday, May 22nd, 2010, at the University of Ottawa. Stay tuned for more details!
- February 24 : CRECS Noon Hour Colloquium Series presents, Does tutoring by foster parents help foster children in primary school make gains in reading and math? First-year results from a randomized evaluation, Bob Flynn, and Marie-Pierre Paquet, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, 30 Stewart Street, Room 105, University of Ottawa.
- CRECS 10th Anniversary (2000 - 2010)
We are pleased to announce that CRECS is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year. A number of activities throughout the next several months will be taking place to celebrate this landmark event, including upcoming conferences and colloquia.
