Senators Eggleton and Segal will present the recently released Senate report on Poverty, Housing and Homelessness, summarizing recommendations intended to break the destructive burden of poverty and homelessness in our country.

Senator Art Eggleton is Chair of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology; former Member of Parliament & Cabinet Minister; and former Mayor of Toronto.

Senator Hugh Segal is Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology; former Associate Secretary of cabinet for Federal Provincial Affairs in Ontario and former Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Canada.
