International Exchanges: study abroad in a similar program
The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs encourages its students to take part in international exchanges and to study in a foreign university for part of their second year of the program. Through its International Office, the University of Ottawa has an extensive set of agreements with foreign universities that allow the exchange of students with minimal administrative and financial effort. In order to encourage the international mobility of students, the School will help students identify a limited number of foreign universities that offer similar programs and that may be particularly well suited for an exchange. The Faculty of Social Sciences will also offer international mobility grants of approximately $1 000 to support the students who want to spend a semester abroad.
