Please join us for a special event of the Security and Intelligence Roundtable, a series of public lectures and discussions organized by the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs of the University of Ottawa, co-sponsored by the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS). We also welcome the University of Ottawa's Centre for International Policy Studies as a sponsor of this talk.

James Judd has served as Director of the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) since November 2004. He has had a distinguished career in government since joining the Department of External Affairs in 1973. Prior to taking the helm at CSIS, he served as Secretary of the Treasury Board (2002-2004) and Deputy Minister of the Department of National Defence (1998-2002). He is a graduate of Carleton University, where he obtained both a B.A. and M.A.

This talk will be held under "Chatham House" rules. A light lunch will be available.

The Ottawa Roundtable on Security and Intelligence is open to faculty and students, to CASIS members, government officials, interested members of the public and the media. No registration for these events is required and no fee is charged.
